Production Supervisor

Stellartech is looking for a Service/Complaint Production Supervisor to join our Team. The Production Supervisor oversees one or more production team(s) in a manufacturing environment to meet customer requirements, both internal and external, while also maintaining and enhancing quality and process improvement objectives. The production lead's responsibilities include training and overseeing production team to ensure consistent product quality and that delivery schedules are met. Additionally, the Production Supervisor monitors individual team workers to see if any need for additional training or instruction exists. The Supervisor reports to the Production Manager. 


  • Serve as a role model for operators in safety, quality, attendance, conduct, performance, and efficiency.
  • Establish expectations of workmanship to meet quality and productivity requirements and follow work in process closely to assure that these are maintained. Investigate processes that are out of conformance and take appropriate action.
  • Act as a technical resource for department employees.
  • Create and oversee an employee training schedule that emphasizes productivity and resource conservation while making sure training is executed in a timely manner
  • Evaluate each station of the manufacturing process to ensure maximum efficiency
  • Reviews Test records for PCBs and System level testing
  • Enforce safety policies and procedures (both in-house and regulatory) to decrease the potential for employee injuries on the job
  • Assume responsibility for manufacturing processes
  • Conduct investigations necessary related to quality, safety, or other production related matters.
  • Inspect products and Device History Records prior to shipment to ensure accurate labeling and record keeping
  • Maintain open lines of communication between employees and management
  • Ensure all resources and assets are used efficiently and correctly

  • Managing projects and cross operational teams - leadership and mentoring experience would be a clear advantage for this role

  • Must be customer oriented and courteous

  • 5+ years of experience in a leadership role, in a regulated manufacturing environment

  • Experience interacting with multiple groups of cross functional

  • Excellent safety records

  • Strong time management and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to multi-task, balance and prioritize conflicting deliverables

  • Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Must be computer literate

  • Strong record of excellent attendance

  • Experience working in medical manufacturing environment

  • Associate's degree in Operations Management or Engineering or a related field

  • Bachelor's degree in Operations Management, Engineering or related field (preferred)

  • Six Sigma experience
